Southern foods are a cinch, its just a matter of flavoring the foods with down home ingredients like salt pork, ham hocks, and fatback (bacon). The only downfall to Southern foods is said to be the cause of high blood pressure, and cholesterol problems. But to know the truth, our ancestors didn't have all the problems we have today because their foods were grown and produced without all the chemicals that are placed in our foods.
